History

The Burning Bush Coffee House concert series was started in 1999 by Corpus Christi native, Pam Stakes. For the last 18 years she has been a volunteer at the Kerrville Folk Festival where she manages the Hospitality Booth, selling CD's for the billed performers. In an effort to bring a little piece of Kerrville to Corpus Christi, Pam created the Burning Bush Coffee House at Parkway Presbyterian Church. Burning Bush Coffee House, now in its 10th season, hosts many of the same performers that can be found at the Kerrville Folk Festival. See the archive for a list of past performers.
